It's a Dogs life for me!!

Hi guys I thought it was well worth an update for you all.
I have been so busy recently I have not yet look back what I've done with this ministry.
As small and insignificant as this ministry may seem the past few months I have learnt so much about people and his love for them in the process.
I first start will share this stories I remember and I also I encourage you to pray that those people will be affected by my conversations.

My first comes from really far back as I think it was August sort of time I walked into the park with every intention to leave as fast as I can. As it was one of those days I was in a rush there was a cloud looking like it was head towards me and I had no encouragement to talk to anyone. The music was on the go and just happened to be playing a sound I found randomly on YouTube I had every intention on ignoring everyone then a word of a song I can’t remember the name instructed me to stop and switch it off. Then I looked up and at the edge of the park sitting on the grass was a women drink a bottle which I later found out was cider not idea how to approach her I started to walk by her then the word ‘hello’ came out of my mouth this not realizing how simply sparked a really nice conversation about life, Bobbie and summer etc.
She then agreed it was a lovely conversation stood up and walks away.

Second story comes from a lovely summer afternoon a group of owners and dogs has form in the park and conversation is usually about what the government is doing or how rubbish the country is today. This particular day there was three owners and their dogs standing chat about something then they started talking about beliefs, churches and their families. This as you can imagine created an opportunity to voice something they was discussing the beliefs all being similar yet there is always a fight etc. I said that's just silly we should all love each other they agree and they continue their conversation.

Thirdly I have meet a lady on my travels almost every day I see her she know bobby really well  now  I am waiting for the opportunity to talk to her about God cause I know she seem so friend so there Is someone to pray about.

So I encourage you to that almost every day I meet someone who is a dog owner and a lot of time I have a conversation. I believe this is an act of love and this is church that is not just confided to a building. I might not ever mention God but I hope I have the opportunity to share my story.

Love you guys God Bless

Surrendering your life to pure simplicity

Hi Guys so sorry I haven't updated you in like ages but I was try to think what I could get you to pray for to be honest. I've got to admit it hard to simply start conversation with people in a park especially when its raining a lot but this shouldn't be a excuse.

The story I have to tell and while I'm writing this I can actually feel my eyes starting to water. During the last couple of weeks I meet this lady she had not 1 but 3 dogs that where all collies and obviously bobbie join them like a pack member. I start to talk to her and she was lovely and she was really nice to but she started to talk to me. She told me about how no-one ever talks to her they see her from across the park and automatically turn and walk straight away. I said If I saw her I would talked to her cause bobbie loves over dogs and I loved to talking to people. She asked my name and followed me as I walked across the park with her. I asked her as she had mention earlier she used to have 4 dogs and she open up to me and started to talk about the dog she had just lost and you can imagine I was finding it hard not to cry as she shared it with me. I made her smile the fact I had talk her that day and I hope I meet her again to pray with her cause I realise I missed an opportunity.

We have to remember that the simplicity of a smile and a listening ear can become a big thing In some peoples life. I've got to be honest I could have walked away that day and she would be still alone in that park with her dogs and no companion.

please pray for her she never gave me her name but she knows mine.

Thanks guys God Bless

Week one: Bricks and Fishes

Hi thanks for those guys who have supported me through this and I encourage you to take part and to prayer mostly.

The first day I went out was on Tuesday with a plan to mainly pray over the park and hopefully speak to someone. It rained and the park was dead apart from as I entered into the park there was a man slow breaking up brick and started to place them within this new wall he was creating. I didn't think it at first but enter the park letting the dog go for a run and started to pray and walk.

As I started to walk around and I started to think about that man and the bricks and slowly but surely God to speak to me about it and this is what he had to say:
'I'm breaking up the brick' And I was like what do you mean God.
'This is a barrier between me and these people and what I want them to do' OK!
'I'm breaking up the pieces and I making it new' like that guy was breaking into pieces to create that new wall he said I'm doing it but I have to break them first.
I've got to break the wrong so I can make it new.
In between these days I didn't pray but I had the opportunity to meet about 7 people this week just randomly and the conversations where mainly dog relate. One the main people was this lady with her son who spent quiet a lot of time with just chatting about her life. So if your thinking of someone that would be her don't know her name but she had blonde hair and she had a son about 12.

Second prayer day was Thursday I decide that I would do a lot of listening as well as prayer and took a slightly different route around the park. I went to the lake at the edge of the park and I decide to sit by the lake before continuing. There is many people of spoke to but I spent a lot of time seeking God. Fishes I bet your thinking why Is this is my name of blog while I was sitting by the lake there was a lot of fishermen and not many of them had catches and yet they was still there trying there best to catch something. It reminded me of the story of the 'Fishes Of Men' story and God reminded me that we can be fishes of men and like the fishermen we should keep trying even if there is none there or we can't see it we keep trying.
'Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”  Matthew 4v19
well sorry for essay but keep praying

thank you

Dog walking ministry

Hi guys as some of you guys may or may not know I have a dog and each day I take my dog out to the park. As I have notice as I go into the park a lot of people come to walk their dogs and lot of them don't really communicate with each other. I have to tell you this story to encourage you to pray and maybe get involve. I few years ago I was walking my Dog and I meet this lady I hadn't seen her before but little did I know that she was going to be my only contact for a about 3 months.
She lived alone with her small little dog and only managed to get out of the house when she took the first few miles a day.
I end up meet every day in Park when my dog unfortunately ran after her dog to play ball.
But despite the annoyance I spend a lot of time talking to her. So this is why I'm writing this Blog I have an idea.

I'm calling it Dog Walking Ministry. The aim is to start off a weekly prayer meeting in Newsham Park that would eventually give us opportunities to talk to people in 2 or 3's because I think It would be scary to approach people as a group. Obviously we will find it hard in the winter so If you can't help please pray for me or provide warm beverages lol. It could work I don't know but all I ask for is someone with the same desire to follow me.

Thanks Guys and watch out for the blogs x x x x
